MCS certified solar photovoltaic installations generate revenue for every kWh of electricity generated via the Government backed FiT (feed-in tariff). In addition to paying a flat rate for generated energy an additional rate is paid for any unused power that is exported back to the national grid - a "feed-in tariff".
